Nuclear Power - The Future
Nuclear power construction in the UK is supported by the UK government as part of the drive for the UK to be self sufficient in terms of sustainable energy supply for the future. Construction is well underway at Hinkley Point C and in June 2025 the UK government committed £14bn to build a nuclear power station at Sizewell C.
