Marek Suchocki is a construction industry professional with over 35 years experience. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered IT Professional, Fellow of BCS, Fellow of ICE and Fellow of CICES.

His core focus has been advocating for adoption of construction digital technology through innovation, promotion, and standards development. He has held roles in contracting, multi-disciplinary consulting, cost management, corporate IT leadership, research management and as an infrastructure client.

He is Senior Vice President at CICES, Vice-Chair of the Technology Group of nima, a member of the British Standards B555 committee that led development of the ISO 19650 series of BIM standards where he is their nominated representative to CEN for Common Data Environments (CDE), and BIM for Infrastructure, and is an elected member of the buildingSMART International Infrastructure Domain Steering Committee where he Chairs the Project Steering Committee.
