Jim is Chair of CMPC, Examiner and co organiser of the Commercial Management Conference  and is currently in his second year of his second stint on CoM. Jim is passionate about the industry and CICES and seeks to influence strategy as well as enhancing the professional accreditation current offering. Jim supports the South West and South East Regions in supporting their CPD events programme.

In terms of his career Jim currently works for the Infrastructure division of Kier Group.

He has spent the majority of his career working on major programmes at senior commercial level, including Devonport Royal Dockyard, HS2 N1/N2,  Whitechapel Main Station Works; Victoria Station Upgrade, Olympics Infrastructure, East London Line Extension,  HS1 CTRL St Pancras,  A13 trunk road, M11 Stansted slip roads and A13 trunk road improvements. In his spare time Jim is an External Examiner at London South Bank University and Examiner / Assessor for CICES and RICS

Outside of work Jim enjoys a diverse musical taste from Jazz, Jazz funk to New Romantic, Rock, Blues, Glam and Punk. He enjoys coastline walks with his dogs and of course watching his home town team Coventry City.
