Genna Rourke is a senior construction and commercial professional with more than 20 years of industry experience.

Beginning her career as a Quantity Surveyor, she has built a strong track record across commercial leadership, contract management, and industry engagement. She is currently Industry Engagement Director at Built Intelligence, where she works closely with clients, partners, and the wider sector to improve commercial capability and promote better contract management practices.

Alongside her professional role, Genna is Vice President of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) and Chair of the CICES Women’s Network.

She is passionate about raising standards across the profession, supporting learning and development, and creating greater opportunities for women in construction. Her work focuses on bridging practical commercial knowledge with modern industry challenges, including digital transformation, skills development, and improving confidence in contract and commercial management. She is recognised for her leadership, industry insight, and commitment to driving positive change across the built environment.
