On 29 October, members of the CICES team took part in a sustainability day at a local woodland in Urmston, Manchester, organised by the environmental charity City of Trees.
Staff contributed to a range of conservation activities, including vegetation clearance, path widening and litter collection.
The initiative reflects CICES’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, one of the institution’s three Golden Threads, and highlights our dedication to supporting community-led environmental projects.
