Nominations are now open for our prestigious Commercial Manager Award 2026, recognising outstanding contributions to the civil engineering surveying industry.

The respected award celebrates commercial professionals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement either through individual excellence or team leadership within the sector.

The award is open to both CICES members and non-members, at all levels.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must have made an outstanding contribution within the two years prior to the closing date of 30 June 2026 in at least one of the following areas:

·      Coordinating all aspects of surveying on a major project in a senior commercial role

·      Working on high-profile construction projects

·      Developing innovative methods and techniques in the field

·      Contributing to academic research with a significant future impact on surveying

·      Making a lifetime contribution to the profession

Top prize

The successful recipient will be presented with the award at the institution's annual dinner, to be held at Delta Hotels by Marriott Bristol City Centre on 25 September 2026. The prize package includes £500, dinner tickets, accommodation, and a certificate.
