The CICES Scotland region welcomes all CICES and RICS members to attend our webinar on ‘Experimental Surveying and Alignment at CERN’ by Dr Solomon Kamugasa. Solomon is a surveying graduate from the University of Glasgow (MSc Geospatial & Mapping Sciences, 2013) and completed his Doctor of Sciences degree at ETH Zurich in 2018. He has extensive experience and expertise in metrology for precise engineering applications. Solomon now leads the Experimental Surveying and Alignment team at CERN – providing survey and metrology support for research experiments that investigate the fundamental structure of the universe.
