WEBINAR: The Shift - From knowing what great teams need to becoming one

In September 2024, author and executive coach Nick Robinson delivered ‘Decoding Difficult’ to the CICES members. The webinar drew on his bestselling book The 9 Types of Difficult People and explored how to understand and reset unhelpful behaviours at work.

After the success of the first webinar, Nick will kindly be presenting The Shift, moves beyond understanding team dynamics to focus on how leadership teams actually change how they work together. Drawing on his work with senior leadership teams, Nick explores why so much team development stalls, not because leaders disagree about what great teams need, but because the how feels risky, time-pressured, or difficult to do well.

This interactive session introduces practical, immediately usable ways of working with trust, challenge, and accountability that reduce resistance rather than provoke it.
